For the past seven years, I have been building websites and web-based applications both solo and as part of a web development team. As a web developer, my goals are to create good-looking websites and easy-to-use web applications, and have done so on over 150 projects to date. Website Development Process
Design
Starting with a few choice photos and an idea of the types of websites you like, I create a prototype of your site. During the design phase, we’ll tweak the appearance of the website until you are happy with the look.
Assemble
The prototype created in the design phase is carved up into its component images, and these are reassembled into a website. Each image will be optimized for a balance of good looks and small file size for fast page loading.
Populate
The individual web pages are generated and populated with text and images designed to get your business noticed on the web. At this stage, I’ll also build any back-end components you have requested.
Launch
After taking care of the red tape, securing a domain name, setting up a web server where your site will be hosted, and filled in the text and images for your site, it’s time to upload all the files to the server. Your site is go!
